In 2021 many schools and businesses were still fully virtual due to the pandemic. For my thesis show I created a digital gallery in the form of a WordPress site so my work could be viewed by those who would have attended an in-person show, but had the priveledge of reaching many more than that.
For my thesis project I captured the essence of some important people that have made their mark on my being. Each person has been embodied in their own limited edition card. Each participant shared an object of importance with me and is represented by the text on the back of the cards. The colors used for each portrait are symbolic of the role they play in my life such as: parental, instructor, friend, and sibling. The symbolism reflected on each card is the visualization of the energy that each person brings.
